Ideally, to be able to access the foodbank you should be able to provide a referral letter from a recognised source, the same as other local foodbanks. This can be an email confirmation sent to us with your details from the Citizens Advice Bureau Derbyshire District, Erewash Borough Council or any other recognised official source. To speak to the Citizens Advice Bureau call them on 0808 278 7954 and explain your situation, they are open Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm

We have given out over 4,000 food parcels since we started operations in May 2020. If you are finding paying bills and putting food on the table a stretch at this moment in time we are here for you.
Please ask, we’re here to help, just ask! Please remember there are thousands of people in the same situation, you are not alone, as we are all in this together.

We are at a time in history when people are hurting financially, mentally and physically because of lockdown. This is due to furlough, losing jobs and livelihoods through no fault of their own. It is happening throughout the UK and many other countries throughout the world. We are here to help those in need in our local community the best we can.

Our Food Bank is FREE to anyone in need, to provide a top up to your weekly shop, or you maybe have a more urgent need. Our service is discreet, confidential and free to all.
